ARPA Funding Information

At the 2023 Annual Meeting, the residents of Primrose voted to form an advisory committee to help the Town Board determine possible uses of funds allocated to Primrose by the ARPA grant (American Relief Plan Act). This grant is overseen and managed by SLFRF (State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds program) initiated by the Federal government in response the Coronavirus.

Primrose has been allocated $81,013.46.  Unused funds will need to be returned to the Federal government in 2026. Allowable application of funds is strictly controlled by the Compliance and Reporting Guide, shown below.

ARPA Update

$81,013.46 was granted to the Town of Primrose through ARPA.  As of June, 2024, the following expenditures have been made from these funds:

     $877.50          2022 Elections

     $652.50          February, 2023 Election

     $1,920            Staircase in Town Hall Shop

     $1,210.05       Laptop for Deputy Clerk

     $7,450.00       Painting of Town Hall

Remaining funds ($69,903.41) as of August 31st.  $60,000 of which has been alloted to a new large public works truck down payment to date, by Board vote.
