The Town of Primrose establishes an annual budget through a process largely mandated by Wisconsin state statutes.  The budget year and calendar year are the same, so the development of next year's budget starts in late summer and is finalized before the end of the year.

Primrose residents must approve the actual levy amount the Town can budget in a special electors meeting in November.  Updates on expenditures are provided monthly at Town Board meetings.
