Property Tax Error

All Primrose residents will be receiving a corrected tax bill from Dane County in the next weeks.  The original tax bills did not include the school tax credit, due to a systems error at the County level.  The corrected tax bill will be yellow.

If you already paid the first portion of your tax bill, the entire school credit will be deducted from your July property tax bill.

If you paid your tax bill in full, you will be receiving the full overpayment refund in February.

Please only pay your taxes using the amount shown on the yellow tax bill.

Tax bills are available on Access Dane for review.  The County has updated those bills to the corrected amounts.

Property Tax and Personal Property Tax Bills

The tax bills were picked up from the printer and should be on the way to Primrose residents soon.  This year you have option of mailing your tax bill:

Treasurer, Dave Garfoot  8670 Garfoot Drive, Mount Horeb, Wi 53572

OR

Dropping it off in the secure lock box at the base of the ramp in front of the Town Hall, 8468 County Road A, Verona, Wi 53593.  The lock box will be checked daily.  This is the fastest and most secure way to pay your tax bill.  PLEASE push your tax payments all the way to the back and off the shelf in the top of the box.  Please don’t leave them sitting on the shelf just inside the door.
